Preparation for reception of the Sacraments:

The preparation takes the form of instruction of children before the time of their First Communion and First Reconciliation. The Sacraments are received in Grade 2 after a two-year-long period (Grades 1 and 2).

The Sacrament of Reconciliation usually occurs during Advent in December.  Each child must have proof of Baptism, be a member of IC Parish, and have documented attendance in Grade 1 Religious Education either at IC or at another parish.
